You have questions? Of course you do. Listen, we want to make this easy, so we're including a list of some of our clients' most commonly asked questions. However, please don't hesitate to contact us for further clarification. We're always happy to answer any questions you might have regarding the services we provide.

 

How soon should I book a date with MobileSonic?

We accept bookings up to a year in advance, and strongly advise you to reserve a date as soon as possible. A one hundred dollar non-refundable deposit will hold your date until 30 days prior to the event.

What kind of music do you have?

Our library is extensive - over 60,000 chart-topping hits in all musical genres! Check out our playlist tool to choose your favorites by artist, song title, or decade. You can even listen to samples of the music, and view lyrics.

What if we want to request a song that isn't in your library?

If you give us at least a week prior to your event we will try to locate your special request, and we only charge what we have to pay for the music.

How much do you charge?

We want to win your business, so our pricing is very competitive with other DJ's in the area. We have packages, as well as hourly rates, to suit most every budget, and offer a discount of 10% for clients who pay in full at the time of booking. As well as discounts to some non-profit organizations, members of the police and fire departments, and to those serving in the U.S. military. MobileSonic is always willing to work with a potential client to customize a package that makes an attractive and affordable alternative to our competition. Do you charge travel time and setup fees?

In all our packages travel, setup, and tear down is included at no charge to our customers.

When will the DJ arrive?

Your MobileSonic crew (including the DJ, our lighting and effects specialist, and equipment transport team) will arrive one hour prior to the scheduled start time of your event unless other arrangements have been made. Please make sure someone is onsite and available to let us inside the venue as our setup is a lengthy process, and for safety reasons cannot be rushed.

What if the event is outside?

Outdoor events aren't a problem. However, our equipment is valuable, and we want to assure everyone's safety in its presence, so our MobileSonic crew must have a dry, covered area, that is level, and free from wind to setup. There must also be ample electrical outlets to power our equipment, or we can arrange to bring a smaller, battery operated PA system.

How are your DJ's and staff dressed?

Always professionally! If the occasion is formal, our DJ's will attend appropriately attired in a tuxedo.

What's your cancellation policy?

If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your scheduled event mobileSonic will refund all but $100 dollars of your deposit. No other refunds will be offered. However, you also have the one time option of rescheduling for a later date under your original contract agreement if we have a date available within one year of your original reservation.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, PayPal, and cash. Personal checks only accepted with advanced payment of two weeks or more.

What equipment will you bring?

Dance floor lighting, FX machines, and pro audio sound systems are our company standard. Although we're always happy to customize a package to meet your special needs.

What if our event runs over the prearranged package time?

If we are available to stay at your event, your contract will include a rate for each part or whole additional hour, which must be paid prior to the extended service. However, please be aware that personal checks will NOT be accepted by the DJ onsite.

Do you have giveaways and dance contest prizes?

Yes! Our DJ's bring giveaway novelties, and can MC a dance contest as part of your package. For your convenience additional party favors and supplies can be ordered right here on our website.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are fully licensed in the state of Washington, and we carry equipment as well as liability insurance. MobileSonic is also a member of the national ADJA (American Disc Jockey Association).

Do you have backup equipment?

Of course! The show must go on!

What about safety?

Always our #1 concern. That's why our equipment is professional quality, our staff is well trained, and we spend extensive time preplanning your event. It is also why we reserve the right to refuse services if we feel safety standards cannot be met.

In Clark County Washington, but we service greater Southwest Washington, including the Portland area.

Not all event venues are alike, so MobileSonic has available multiple configurations of professional audio equipment (From 500 watts to over 5000 watts!) to assure the highest quality sound is always offered to our clients no matter where we are asked to provide the entertainment.
